Ritmos Academy started with a dance intensive summer program in 2004. Today, it has incorporated many elements to the original program. Our dance program is designed to introduce dancers to technique of Ballet and Modern. However, students are immersed in the folkloric traditions of Latin Dances. Dance teachers/choreographers create pieces of Latino dances that incorporate elements of traditional dances and modern dance. We offer a variety of styles ranging from Modern, Flamenco, Afro-Caribbean Latin dances such as (Salsa, Merengue, Bachata). Classes are available for children, youth and adults at our studio located at 344 Chandler Street. We have a wide range of teachers that specialize in the styles we offer.
